So on my trip I saw a few wild animals I had never seen before. Just thought I'd tell you a little more about my trip, since I haven't really said that much. I saw a bald eagle flying. That was cool. I also saw a wolf in the wild. The whole trip was completely beautiful.

So I'm taking a painting class this semester. I'm painting with acrylics which is a medium I'm not use, too. I'm used to watercolor, and in watercolor you use more water, less paint, you have to manipulate the water to do what you want, or you can be brave and let the water do it's own thing. You have little room for mistakes, because once the colors is on the paper there's little you can do to get it off. You draw first, paint later. With acrylic it's opposite. You have to use the paint to sorta sculpt your drawing.
So I was totally stressing out! I wasn't getting the consistency right or the value, I didn't have good brushes for the job and I didn't know what to do! My own advice in this situation is to pretend like I know what I am doing. That worked pretty well. But my teacher's advice was just as good. She gave me some tips and she also said a lot of student feel overwhelmed when they first start a painting. After a six hours going crazy over my painting, I was able to stand back and I see that it wasn't as bad as my fears were making me believe. It's not finished yet, but I'm proud of it. So basically I had a good day.

Okay, Washington was amazing, my nephew is so cute! and everything is good. The weather was beautiful. Foggy most the time. We stopped to eat on the way back in northern California, and when I got out of the car I was squinting. That was when I noticed I hadn't seen the sun in a while. I didn't really miss it too much. Seattle was kinda cute for a big city. The baby man was very good during those long drives. He learned how to walk and to wave. The whole trip was just so much fun. I'm glad to be home and see my Sean though.

So we made it to my Uncle Terry's in Alturas, CA. It's freezing cold up here. Terry's home is beautiful and the baby man is glad to be out of the car and crawling again.

Seattle, Here I Come!
So Crys had her baby and I'm planning on going up to Washington to see them. I'm totally excited because I've never been to Washington before. We'll be going to Seatle, Olympia, and Maple Valley! I'll take lots of pictures. Be back in two weeks!
