There is a referrance in Guylene's notes that the Gorman's lived in and around Smithport, Indiana, Pennsylvania. David G. followed farming and lumbering. He served 9 mos. in the Civil War and was at Lee's surrender. He enlisted in Company C 206th Pennsylvania Regiment. He filled the office of justice of the peace from 1857 to 1877.
To the best of Guylene's understanding this is the sister of Delilah Fry who was referred to as "Teet Gorman" by Rebecca Laney McKee.
She is a 4th Great Grandmother of Guylene Cox.
She was reared and married in Ireland. She settled on Cherry Run about 1795, (Note the Ancestral File has her born 1869 which is obviously incorrect.).Guylene
