Mary Long

There is an entry in the Plum Creek Church Congregation Records referring to a Mrs. Mary.... formerly Mary Long, respecting a separation from her husband, date 2 July 1842. Guylene does not know if this could possibly be this Mary. Plan search marriage records and 1870 and 1880 Census./Guylene


Andrew Learn

Married and the father of 6 children. He was living at the time of his father's will. (Will written Mar 1877 and proven Jan 1892)


John Bash

He is the 3rd greatgrandfather of Olive Keturah Bash. He and his wife were of the Reformed Religion and had 10 Children. Most of the children were baptized by Rev. John William Weber. Their first daughter born about 1787 died a "few years later". They lived near the river and close to John's father, Martin Bash Sr.. They lived near the Clauson, Learn, Smeltzer and Whitesel families in eastern Bell Twp. When John and Magdalena first moved to Bell Twp., they are believed to have lived on the land owned by her father or brother, Christian Lauffer.

George Valentine Steiner

He is the 5th great grandfather of Guylene Cox. He immigrated to the United States 18 Oct 1776 at the port in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the "Ship Polly" from Amsterdam, and last leaving port from Cowes, England. There were 181 persons aboard. A George Frederick Steiner was aboard and though to be his brother, arriving on the same ship.
