Guy Laney and family visited Ord and his family frequently. Guy and Ord were good friends as well as cousins. Wilda was very nice and Ruth Laney and Wilda were good friends. Roger was younger than Guylene, in fact Guylene remembers him being the baby. Kathryn and Beverly spent a lot of time with Phyllis. Guylene especially liked Emma Ruth who frequently took care of her and when she moved to Ohio she often had Guylene stay over. Ord was a coal miner for a time and also a barber. He operated barber shops in Hillsdale, Clymer, Pittsburgh, and Aliquippa. He came to visit Guylene in San Bernardino, California in 1973 and it was quite a surprize! I opened the door and when I saw him all the memories of my father came flooding back. He was only going to spend the night, but he dropped his glass eye on the bathroom floor and it broke. We spent two days trying to find someone to fit him with a new one, but were unsuccessful so he went on his way./Guylene
