1Notes.
Don't know the source and there seems to be duplication that some of the same information is notes for his brother James, regarding applying for a grant and receiving a grant for his father. Guylene wonders if the notation that he developed Camp Fever there was for a brother and that he died at Valley Forege. Guylene will try to do more research. The Notation: He was in the Revolutionary War. He applied for a patent in his father's name (James) on Mar 1, 1775. The patent was granted to James, Nov. 3, 1784. Rportedly he had gone west to Tunnelton along the Conemaugh River prior to 1770, but returned to Franklin County at the outbreak of the Revolutionary War. (Guylene did send for the War records, pension or bounty November 22, 1972)/Guylene.
