He and Minnie Etta are buried next to his parents- William Learn and Magaret Kunkle. Even though his name has been seen as Harry K. ; the tombstone engraving appeared to be Harvey K. Learn 1867-1935 Minnie E. 1878-1935 / G.Cox.

There is an entry in the Indiana Register found at rootsweb.com (in usgenweb, pa, indiana, newspapers, paper text 0016.txt as follows- 18 Mar 1856 Died. Of consumption, on Sunday, March 16th, Susanna, wife of William R. Mahan, aged 20 years, 10 months and 22 days. (Guylene Cox believes this is probably this Willam and his wife.)
There is an entry found which would probably be the first wife. 30 May 1854 Died. At her residenc in Armstrong county on the 24th of May, MRS. ESTHER MAHAN, wife of WILLIAM R. MAHAN, in the 24th year of her age. (This in paper0005.txt).
